Exciting news: You can now use the existing photos in blogs and forum posts, without having to upload them again. As an example, you might upload a bunch of photos to the photo albums and then want to talk about them in a blog. You'll just need to type [photo:ID] in the text, and replace the ID with the photo's actual ID number. The easiest way to find this number is to look at the web browser's address bar when you're viewing the photo.
Let's take an example. I went to the photos section and picked up a random photo. The address line in the web browser looks like this:
In this case, the ID number is 4574. Let's try typing [photo:4574] and see what happens:
Grundvik main house
Wow, it actually works! If you want to see a smaller version of the image, you can use definitions small, medium, thumb, tiny. Here's what they look like:
Grundvik main house
[photo:4574;small]
Grundvik main house
[photo:4574;thumb]
Grundvik main house
The larger sizes automatically display the photo title below it while the smaller show the title only when you move a mouse over them. Clicking on the images will take open the actual photo page, so this is also a great way to give your photos more visibility!
Sometimes you want to control the photo alignment to more easily embed the photos with your text. You can do this by using tags left and right along with the photo definitions. For example, [photo:4574;small;right] would place the image on the right side of the text... like the picture on the right!
